How 8VIBES handles information and optional analytics.
Information used by the website
Search queries are processed to return results. We do not require an account or intentionally collect a visitor profile. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process basic request information, such as an IP address and user agent, to deliver and secure the website. Retention is controlled by the configured hosting provider.
Optional analytics
Optional first-party analytics stores consented page paths, event types, timestamps and a random browser identifier in our database. It does not store search text or audio. Clear the browser identifier by withdrawing consent. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only when tracking IDs are configured and you choose to allow analytics. Your preference is stored in your browser under 8vibes-analytics. Use Privacy preferences in the footer to change it. Withdrawing consent stops future event calls; third-party cookies already placed may need to be removed in browser settings.
Streaming services
Spotify and YouTube players load only after you choose a player. The provider receives your request and applies its own privacy policy. Apple Music and other streaming links take you to external services. We do not control those sites or their data handling.
